Jammie Thomas-Rasset is no stranger to intellectual property infringment laws. She has arguably one of the most famous file-sharing cases of all time, and her case is going BACK to court. Known as the infamous Capitol v. Thomas, in which Rasset was originally convicted and charged 1.92 million by a jury in which was later lowered to $54,000. Although the settlement was already made, Rasset is due back in court for reasons related to damages, unrelated to her guilty charge.
